Jo says mesh should never have been an option

Following the mesh sling insertion to treat bladder leaks I suffered pain in my groin area. I was 47 years old. I began to develop strange sensations down my legs like my blood was running up and down. I was experiencing feeling my blood pressure was dropping. I was tested for MS which was extremely worrying. I then began to suffer from frequent UTIs and razor-like soreness in my lower abdomen. I am unable to have intimate relationships as this causes further pain and UTIs. I was never offered an alternative to mesh . This should never have been an option.
