Angela’s prolapse mesh removal gives better quality of life

Finally I have had this toxic plastic mesh removed in what turned out to be a long and difficult surgery. It was implanted when I was 48 years old, probably caused by childbirth complications. The first week of recovery was horrible as I was in a lot of pain, but I know this was the right decision. I was getting more and more sick with the mesh inside me and living in constant pain. I’ve a few bladder leaks now but I don’t care as can cope with that – and would rather live with using Tena pads than the previous pain.

Before removal the mesh was digging in my groin, and I felt nauseous . All gone. I can’t wait to get back to my hobby of going on long walks and swimming.
